Payment TermsĀ 

10% deposit is required to accept a quote. 40% is due the day before installation. Balance is due on completion of the job. By paying a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Payment can be made by cash, direct deposit or credit card. A 1.99% surcharge applies for payment via MasterCard, Visa and American Express.

Price

Extra charges will apply if your sub floor is not suitable/ready for conventional installation. This also applies to floors after the removal of existing floors.

Price does not include furniture moving, removal existing flooring or floor preparation such as levelling/grinding unless specifically listed on the quote.

Doors may need to be trimmed to allow clearance. This is not part of the standard fitting charge unless specified on the quote.

Cancellation of Purchase

Please choose carefully, we do not refund for change of mind purchases. Excess products may be returned if it is a stocked item and products are in unopened boxes and original condition. A 30% restocking fee applies.

Factory 2nd and Used Carpet tiles are unable to be returned and all sales are final.

Ownership of Goods

Ownership of goods does not pass from the Company until invoice is paid in full and allows the Company to repossess goods at any given time if not paid according to our specific terms.

Products

The samples provided to you are intended to give a general impression of the colour and pattern. When fitted to a larger area some patterns can have an inherent striped effect, or additional patterns and colours which may not be obvious from the sample.

Laminate flooring will be affected by moisture. Follow the suppliers fitting and maintenance instructions carefully to prevent swelling of the joints or other moisture-related problems.

All used products are sold in as is condition. We highly recommend inspecting the products prior to purchase as there are no refunds on used products.

Photographs of all items may not show the true colour of the product and In person inspection is highly recommended.

Installation

Our flooring installers are expected to carry out their work with reasonable skill and care, but even with the greatest care home dĆ©cor may be marked or scuffed during the installation process. New paintwork and wallpaper is especially vulnerable and should be allowed to fully dry. Painting may be chipped or damaged if the painting has not been correctly installed and the installer is not responsible for any reasonable damage occurring due to poor paint work. A minimum of two weeks is recommended post painting to ensure it is adequately dried. Removing of exiting skirting may also cause damage to the skirting, wall and painting. Australian Flooring Outlet shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage caused during the installation process, except where loss or damage has been caused by that personā€™s negligence.

Warranties

Note that we at Australian Flooring Outlet take pride in the products and services we offer, so with that in mind we offer 12 Month installation warranty against defects in workmanship and your new flooring comes with an excellent manufacturer’s warranty as well.
